You’ll Love This Breathtaking West Virginia Mountaintop Wedding
Adam & Kayla love the outdoors and when planning their wedding, they knew they wanted an intimate ceremony with breathtaking views. That’s why they chose to have a mountaintop wedding ceremony overlooking the New River Gorge, in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Kayla chose the rose gold and soft blush tones as a romantic, elegant and feminine wedding inspiration. Working with Michael Romeo, of Unique Creations to style her wedding day, it was the day of her dreams.
Soft and Elegant Colors
We wanted to keep our colors very soft and elegant. Rose gold and blush pinks with a touch of sage make beautiful tones in pictures! I took my favorite colors and incorporated them into the whole wedding look.
My wedding dress was a beautiful tulle ivory color with rose gold and sage embellishments. The bridesmaid’s dresses were a very elegant long style and the color was ice pink. I loved their dresses. The groomsmen brought out the colors with their slate blue tuxes and blush pink ties. I have to say I’m very proud of those colors. Everything was so beautiful!
Our outdoor ceremony decor was unbelievable. Michael had florals covering everything including the deck and a garden arch. The isle had beautifully wrought iron hooks that had hanging ivory ball flowers on each end.
Decorating for our wedding was also very simple and elegant. For our centerpieces, we had tall vase cylinders with champagne diamond bands, ivory floral balls, and hanging rose balls inside the vase. To up light the vases our wedding designer had candles placed in the bottom of each one. The tables were covered in beautiful rose gold runners.
Our favorite part of our wedding was everything. We can honestly say that we enjoyed every single part of our day. The ceremony, reception, and after party was all absolutely perfect. Who gets married at noon and ends the party at nine o’clock pm!? We took full advantage of our venue!
Bride to Bride Advice
My advice to future brides is to take it one day at a time. Do not rush! This will be an event that you’ll remember for the rest of your life. Take it all in and cherish all these special moments. Marriage is beautiful and tough but you’ll always have each other. Remember that and cherish each other.
