This Moody and Intimate Shoot Is Elopement Inspiration
Typically, an elopement is done on a whim. Yet they can be an intimate setting. For this shoot, family heirlooms and treasures from Hoody Hudson Farm’s personal collection, create a romantic celebration.
This affair radiates warmth and coziness. First, the idea was brought to life in the lounging area. The gold, velvet couch draped with a red, velvet throw and floral pillows are inviting enough on their own. To take it further, an antique trunk rests on boho style rugs topped with plush fur and palms. It softens the rustic backdrop of the wooden barn walls. By doing this, the space achieves that intimate feeling desired for this elopement.
When it comes to wedding food, the cake is king, and this dessert table screams royalty. Brass candle holders passed down for generations don black candlesticks making the cake table both moody and elegant. Meanwhile, boho features are repeated with the macramé style table dressing and wall covering. Pampas grass from a friend’s garden help frame and bring the space together.
All of these elements complimented the picturesque mocha flavored cake topped with an array of immaculate flowers. The dessert table feast was rounded out with fruits, red velvet whoopie pies, and chocolate truffles. A perfect buffet of sweets for a pair of eloping lovers.
There is no story as good as yours. Every bride and groom should feel this on their wedding day. What better way than to showcase that than a bride and groom’s table set in front of a mural of pages from antique books. It’s the perfect backdrop for the beginning of their “Once Upon a Time.”
An experimental mix of place settings shows different layers and textures. Marble chargers topped with floral napkins paired with heirloom pink glass dishes. The handwritten place cards add a charming personal touch. Altogether it is truly breathtaking.
No wedding day is complete without a little drama, so why not indulge in a smoke bomb exit? It is your day to take center stage. While vibrant red smoke surrounds the couple, it is hard to miss the love and intensity in this couple’s relationship. All the details tell the perfect story…their story.
