This Backyard Picnic Bridal Shower Focused on Love and Faith

 In Bridal Shower, Bridesmaids Confess!

One of the most cost effective bridal showers to have is one at home. A backyard picnic bridal shower is a great option. Especially if you are planning a spring or summer shower, or you are blessed with year round nice weather.

Just like on Roxy’s wedding day, the bride was treated to an intimate outdoor event, this one being held in the backyard of her bridesmaid Jessica.

Handmade Decor

Jessica handmade the majority of the decor. We love all the personal touches, especially the “bride’s suite” area complete with blankets. Just look at how adorable that “From Miss to Mrs.” burlap sign is.

Bible verses were a great way to show this couples faith in their love. Guests could leave well wishes or advice for the couple in a bound book with the cover title “Embrace the Journey.”

Sweet Treats

There was a Mimosa bar with both OJ and peach juice, as well as fresh fruit mixers, and plenty of homemade desserts on hand. A nice touch is the desserts in a small container. This allows guests to take it home as a favor if they’re too full for dessert at the shower. The mimosa bar itself is like a sweet dessert!

Perfect Day

The Miami weather held out and it was a beautiful, sunny day. The guests loved the laid back atmosphere. It was perfect for celebrating the love of this laid back couple.

The shower even carried on into the evening. Remaining guests lingered under the hanging lights and the beautiful blue sky. Roxy is one lucky bride to have such a beautiful day for her bridal shower.

Chris Sosa is an amazing photographer. Just had to get a night shot in there especially with those sting lights.
